Sources and method
Every page is copied from the EU Pesticides Database. Nothing is written from memory.
Where the data comes from
Every page is built from the EU Pesticides Database, the public database of the European Commission, read through its open API (version 3.0) on 5 November 2026. The program copies the name, status, approval date, expiry date, category, CAS number, rapporteur Member State and the acts listed in the database.
The database returns one row for each substance and each linked act. The program merges the rows of one substance. Where the rows of one substance disagree, the substance has no page.
How the status is shown
The status is worded as the database words it, for example "Approved", "Not approved" or "Pending". It is the status at 5 November 2026. "Not approved" is a status of the active substance in the database on that date. It is not a statement about any product.
Dates are shown as the database gives them. The site computes nothing from them.
What is left out
The toxicological reference values in the database are not copied. Product names and authorisations of plant protection products are not part of this site.
What this site does not say
We state what the database shows, with its source and date. We do not say whether a substance or a product is lawful to use or sell. The database is updated by the European Commission; the current entry is there.
